Parent Pager Software Bundle
The Parent Pager Software Bundle includes three software applications developed to assist ministries with the security, check in/out process, reporting and communications for their children and youth programs.The Parent Pager software is licensed as a site-license for an organization and is installed on each computer in the organization that will be used for check-in/out, administration and reporting. The bundle includes the following software applications: Parent Pager Check-In System, Pager Agent and the Parent Pager database. The first year’s subscription for Parent Pager Support Membership is also included with the software bundle.
Parent Pager check-in allows two modes of operating; Staffed Mode and Express Mode. Staffed mode is operated by a trained volunteer who is assisting the families checking in or out. Staffed Mode has three levels of privileges; Basic, Advanced and Administrator. Each level requires a different password and offers different privileges. When Parent Pager is running in Express mode parents perform the check in and out procedure themselves using ID cards and the easy to follow steps on the screen.
Pager Agent is a single license software and is installed on the computer connected to the Parent Pager Transmitter and/or modem used for sending pages. Pager Agent is the software application that links the paging equipment to the Parent Pager system. A message for a parent or staff is initiated from any computer running the Parent Pager software. Pager Agent processes the message and sends the information to the paging equipment. Pager Agent connects to the Parent Pager Transmitter for use with on-site premise pagers and also can be used with a standard modem and phone line for sending messages to page enabled cell phones.
Parent Pager Database is a single license database installed on the computer used as the server or host for the information repository for the Parent Pager system. The Parent Pager Database system contains the database engine software, default information and configurations for supporting the Parent Pager System. Each of the Parent Pager Database items are installed on a single computer that is designated as the server or information host for the Parent Pager system. This computer can be a dedicated server/host computer or one of the other computers used with Parent Pager. All of the computers used with the Parent Pager system must be connected together with a wired or wireless network. The database engine shipped with the Parent Pager Database is sufficient for connecting up to five Parent Pager computers. If the total number of computers using Parent Pager exceeds five, using Microsoft’s SQL Server as the database engine is recommended.
Parent Pager Support Membership is an annual subscription with a current yearly price of $249. Parent Pager Support Membership entitles the member to all software modifications to the current version via ftp download and email support during the membership year.
