Computers
The computer requirements for Parent Pager are minimal. Hand-me-downs from the ministry’s offices or from a member will serve well as a Parent Pager check-in station computer.Parent Pager requires a minimum of a Pentium IV 1 GHz processor with 1 GB Ram.
Available disk space should be at least 100 MB.
Supported operating systems are:
Windows XP.
Windows Vista
For security reasons Windows XP Pro or Vista Business are preferred.
If multiple Parent Pager computers will be used a network connection is required. (Wired or wireless)
Communication port requirements for the computer are dependent on the hardware that will be connected to the computer. Verify the communication connection requirements of each hardware component.
