* What security measures does parent pager offer?

Parent Pager has been designed to offer a more secure environment for the child, but also to provide a more secure record system to protect the church or care organization. It is important that your organization maintain childcare records for many years into the future for the legal protection and justification of your care methodology. Parent Pager Plus cannot delete data associated files! Parent Pager merely compresses and inactivates files. Every detail pertaining to your children and the care provided is retrievable for years into the future.

Parent Pager Offers Extensive Time and Attendance Tracking for guardians, children and staff. This results in the ability of your center to know and record the persons who have had responsibility for, and access to, each child at every moment of every day.

Parent Pager Offers Photo Identification and verification of all authorized guardians, children and staff. This photo identification and verification system includes both on-screen formats and printed identification tags produced by Parent Pager.

Parent Pager Offers RF Identification. While barcodes can be reproduced and so are not a foolproof security measure, RF IDs are a much more secure technology. The RF ID format also secures personal files and limits check in/out of children only to RF ID card holders when the Parent Pager terminal is operating in the Self-Serve-Express mode.

Parent Pager Offers Printable Check-In/Out Slips containing the photos of the authorized guardian and children, the station assignments, and specific care documentation. These slips are used to confirm childcare data and authorized guardians.

Parent Pager Produces Photo Identification Tags. Identification tags may be produced for all staff, children, authorized guardians, and general households. Tags may be produced using your standard laser printer, but will require lamination. The preferred method to produce the ID tags is to use our thermal label printers. The thermal method is water resistant and smudge resistant and does not require lamination. The thermal method is also very fast (within 4 seconds is possible), easy to use, and inexpensive.

Parent Pager Offers Medical Emergency Team Paging. Licensed or certified staff may be placed on a special database list that allows them to be immediately paged in the case of a medical emergency.

Parent Pager Offers Detailed Incident Reporting. The ability to record an incident in a timely fashion is important for the legal protection and security of your care center. Incident reports may be shared with a child’s legal guardians on the child’s check-out slip.

Parent Pager Offers A Child Check-Out Counter. The Check-Out counter is a means to verify that all children have indeed been claimed by their guardians. While it is rare, there have been reported incidents of children being locked into a closed care center.

Parent Pager Offers Guardian Restriction Alerts. Parental visitation rights are commonplace, given the high rate of divorce in today's society. It is necessary to provide a means of ensuring that only the person authorized to claim a child at any given moment is permitted to do so. Parent Pager makes note of any legal or security concerns and restrictions, and displays those issues pertaining to the person attempting to check out a child.

Parent Pager Offers Secure Access Control. The authorized person will be able to wave their ID card near a reader on the doorpost, the door will unlock, and the entry data will be recorded. Utilizing the latest proximity ID card technology, this optional module to Parent Pager is planned to be available in 2004.
