* We are responsible for hundreds of children coming into our center or children’s ministry within a short time frame. How fast is Parent Pager?

Parent Pager is very fast! Parent Pager offers two Check-In and Check-Out Modes. The first mode is a “staffed” terminal; the second mode is the “Self-Serve-Express” terminal.

The Staffed Terminal can check in a child within 15-30 seconds and when finished, the center will have defined who has brought the child to the center, assigned the child to a station, identified care and medical issues, identified items the child is bringing into the center, assigned a “Day Pager” to the parents, printed ID labels for the child and each of the items the child is bringing into the center, and will have printed a check-in slip which includes: photo images of the child and the parent, barcodes of child and parent, basic personal information, a list of items brought into the center by the child, the child’s station assignment, and any noted child care instructions.

The Self-Serve-Express Terminal can check in a child as quickly as 3 seconds. Most all the features and functions of the “Staffed Terminal” are automated and accomplished at an incredible speed. This mode utilizes RF ID scanning and touch-screen monitors to securely and quickly enable the parent to check-in their own children and even, if you permit, self-assign Day Pagers. All labels and check-in/out slips are printed automatically when check-in/out is completed.

Finally, while Parent Pager can be used as a single station, Parent Pager really shines when operated as a network of stations. Some churches and centers are establishing a PC in every station to accommodate high traffic patterns. Other churches and centers are establishing islands of automated check-in stations in their lobbies, and staffed stations covering specific age groupings. Either method enables the large church or childcare center to process many children quickly.
