It is very unlikely. Parent Pager utilizes an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) transmitter at 457.550 MHz. Unlike less expensive systems that make use of the lower frequencies in the Citizen Band (CB) or garage door opener spectrums resulting in signals that are absorbed by brick walls and metal frame structures, UHF penetrates walls and bounces throughout a facility. Parent Pager has been designed to fulfill the requirements of the mega-church environment and large childcare centers with extensive playground facilities. Parent Pager can even function in very large shopping malls! Coverage may be extended through the use of low-loss 50 ohm coax lines between the transmitter and a high-gain outdoor mounted antenna.
